It was my first day in Vancouver today.

I felt scared before meeting my host family.

We travelled to Vancouver by Air Canada, and it took roughly 12 hours.  But, I wasn’t sleeping well, so I watched some movies. For example, Maze Runners and Mermaid. After watching the movies, it was time to land. We went to the church by ‘School Bus’ and there we got to meet our host families.

I felt so excited and scared while waiting to be called. Finally, it’s my turn. My homestay parents are Mr and Mrs Rey and they have children. They are very good at cooking. She cooked me chicken spaghetti and baked a nice mango cake. I like them so much.
